Sea of Leaves

Summer is approaching and with comes the promise of much Super Street Fighter 4. I've got the HRAP3 Puyo stick I modded a while back, but as we'll mostly be playing on the 360, I needed a new stick if I had any intention of competing. I picked up MadCatz absolutely terrible Fightstick SE for $30. I knew I'd have to gut the thing to make it competition grade, but I didn't expect it to be busted out of the box. Fortunately they're easy to mod. Here's the result:

For those that care, I swapped the stick out for a Sanwa, and the buttons are Seimitsu. The art and design are made by me, save for the Jet Set Radio logo in the corner, of course. I also made a wallpaper version for myself. If anyone wants a different resolution I'll be happy to oblige.

I made these Monokuro Boo icons today at the urging of a certain someone. I obviously can't take credit for the original designs, but I did make the icons myself. I figure a handful of people might like them. (Clickies for downloading)

In more substantial news, our little game studio is looking to launch fairly soon with a developers' blog and such. Look forward to that.

I finished up the sandworm and posted it to the gallery. I also killed Audrey for her blog again. This time it was a tumble down the stairs.

-Maybe I'm a bit behind the times, but have you seen Alex Roman's "The Third & The Seventh"? It's an absolutely stunning CG piece. I thought it was quite relaxing the first time I watched it, then I read that it was completely CG and it blew my mind!
